Intro that hooks.

| Formula | Example |
|---|---|
| Observation | Noticed [Company] just [X]. Congrats - quick question: |
| Question | Is [specific thing] on your radar for [timeframe]? |
| Mutual connection | [Name] suggested I reach out about [topic]. |
| Curiosity gap | One thing I'm curious about: [question they'd want to answer]. |
First email body: what to include. Why first email bores: boring first email. Authentic outreach: authentic outreach.
Rule
Lead with them. Their business, their situation, their question. You come second. "I help..." can wait for line two or three.
FAQ
How long should the intro be?
One sentence. Maybe two. Get to the point. They scan in seconds.
What dies fast?
Hi, I'm [Name]. I help businesses... Generic. Lead with them, not you.
Should the first line be a question?
Often works. Questions create engagement. But a sharp observation can too. Test both.
